Where do I begin?? I grew up with Natalie, being her sister Ashley and I became BFF's in the 7th grade. I in turn became very close with all of the Setliff's over the years, spending many of life's splendid moments together: summers, proms, holidays, birthdays, Disneyland adventures, concerts, graduations, weddings, the whole nine. Ashley was my Matron of Honor and Natalie was a Bridesmaid in our own wedding. I've seen Natalie grow from a little one into a beautiful woman inside and out.
Natalie has always had an open heart and vibrant love for life. She never fails to make me laugh whenever we spend time together. We even got to share an office together in my 20's! This is when I first starting hearing about the infamous Christopher. An Australian with an affinity for aviation (alliteration WIN!) she happened to meet while he was visiting California. I soon after moved away to Mississippi to be with my husband while he finished up school. Natalie not long after relocated to Australia to spend more time with Chris. Beyond being such a great fit for one another, I loved the adventurous nature of their relationship from the start, and I knew she'd have a blast experiencing a new country. When they became engaged to be married, I was overjoyed in having the honor of capturing the day!
The wedding took place in gorgeous Sonoma wine country, at Vine Hill House in Sebastopol. Natalie had a couture wedding dress made by the incredibly talented Chein Noir Dezines. The decor and fashion had understated Gatsby touches throughout - and I could not get enough of the sequins! I also swooned over the Wall-E and Eva cake toppers.
Seeing both sides of friends and family come together from across the globe and connect with one another was also a favorite memory from the day, and when we left, I was overjoyed to see one of my sisters start a new chapter of their life. Congratulations, Chris + Natalie - I love you both and wish you the best.
